Visa
Foreign nationals entering Korea are generally required to have a valid passport
and a Korean visa assigned by overseas branch of Korean embassy or consular offices.
However, there are permitted visa-free for a limited period under certain conditions following the
“Citizens of the Countries under the Visa Exemption Agreement.”

CURRENCY AND EXCHANGE
The local currency is the Korean won (KRW). Most establishments will not accept foreign currency,
but credit cards are widely accepted, even in taxis.
Money changers are not common on the streets of Seoul,
so please secure Korean currency in advance (e.g., upon arrival at the airport).
Transportation
Public transportation is widely used in Korea. Buses and subways accept cash only,
while taxis usually accept either cash or credit card
